Come enjoy some southern hospitality in Downtown Frankfort

BnB’s BnB at The Meeting House is a civil war era home in Frankfort’s Historic District - convenient to downtown, the state capital, the Bourbon Trail, and Keenland & Churchill Downs racetracks. Our Bed and Breakfast is also within walking distance of at least 8 locally owned restaurants, unique small boutiques, numerous local museums and historic sites, and a quick drive to parks and recreational areas.

Rich in history and tradition

The house has been home to many local luminaries and features 11-foot ceilings, 12-inch-thick brick walls, and a hand carved wood banister winding from the entrance foyer up to the third floor. The guest rooms are all appointed with original windows and casings and on-suite bathrooms. The second story veranda overlooks the brick courtyard and is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the Kentucky experience.

Innkeepers Brad & Bridget Peters have been in the hospitality industry for nearly 30 years.  Originally from the heart of central Illinois' corn country, we have often toured the Bourbon Trail and fell in love with the area and the people, especially Frankfort. When the opportunity arose to sell off our restaurants in Illinois, we moved to Kentucky and were lucky enough to have the chance to purchase this historic old building. the meeting House has been a successful bed and breakfast for over 20 years, and we hope to carry on that tradition, while adding a few touches to make it all our own.

"We only stayed one night in the Boyer room but were happy with the welcome we received, our room,

and the breakfast the next morning. Unfortunately we didn't run into any ghosts but we'd definitely stay here again."
